Growing up, JJ Kauer fell in love with green chili burritos. Now, after a career in business, Kauer is bringing his passion for this culinary dish to Hutchinson.Trained as a chef, Kauer is introducing Kansans to his favorite childhood dish from his food truck, DorisJ Smothered Green Chili Company."I grew up in Colorado. Green chili is king out there," he said. "When I moved to Kansas, I couldn't find it anywhere. So I saw there was a need for it."That was in April of 2018. Since then, he has been steadfastly making green chili smothered burritos for hundreds of customers.
