Sen. Moran announces $3 million investment in Hutchinson Community College nursing program Hutchinson Community College will receive $3 million in federal funding to expand its nursing program and better meet the demand for additional nurses in south-central Kansas, U.S. Sen. Jerry Moran, R-Kan., announced Thursday during a news conference at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. 'Many communities across Kansas are experiencing a health care workforce shortage, and Hutchinson Community College is working to meet that need,' said Moran.
