Hutchinson, Kansas native among the Blue Angels flying in Kansas City this weekend Among those Blue Angels performing at this weekend's Garmin KC Air Show is Alex Martinez, a native of Hutchinson, Kansas. After undergoing four months of training, he earned his Blue Angels crest. Martinez, now a part of the esteemed Blue Angels squadron, is excited about participating in the upcoming air show so close to his hometown."I was ecstatic when I received the news that I had been selected to come to Florida," Martinez said.
