Jay Daubenberger Liberal, KAN. – Seward County women's soccer made history for their program by playing their first ever game Wednesday against Kansas City Kansas. Unfortunately, history was not on the Lady Saints side as they dropped their season opener 4-0 against the Blue Devils. SCCC was constantly on the defensive front throughout most of the night in their first-ever game. The Lady Saints fought hard to protect their goal through the first twenty-five minutes of the first half thanks to freshman goalkeeper Sydney Williams with multiple saves to keep KCK at bay until the Blue Devils were able to finally sneak one pass at the 20:46 mark of the contest for the only goal of the first half.
