SOUTH HUTCHINSON – The South Hutchinson City Council Tuesday voted to appoint Erin Cokeley to the city planning commission.It marks the first time in more than a decade that the nine-member body has no vacancies, according to City Administrator Joseph Turner.Cokeley's interest in serving on the planning commission rose out of her volunteering to organize mud volleyball competitions during the city's July 4th events last weekend, Turner said.A nurse practitioner who graduated from Hutchinson Community College in 2017, Cokeley has been a lifelong resident of Reno County.
